This is the painting I have been working on for the past 2 days. I am not sure if I am completely done yet, so critique is encouraged. This is part of the "cool pet" series. The 1st one was the Tiger at School. Thanks for looking!
Beautiful work Heather! I love the shadows coming off the animals! The vibrant colors and dynamic sense of perspective make this a very strong piece. ;)
I would consider adding a little bit of a vignette on the left to help draw the eye towards the center of the piece.
Stay tomorrow night with us if you feel like painting! It should be a lot of fun!
Might be a bit late to put my two cents in but--I am finding the branch with the leaves in the top center rather distracting. My eye immediately goes to it and gets stuck on it.
Everything else is good. I love the contour, shadow, and color on the large giraffe.
